Chargers’ Gordon out for rest of season with knee injury

The NFL’s 32 owners will decide next month if it was the last one in San Diego Chargers history.

After 55 years in San Diego, the Chargers franchise seems like the favorite to move up north to Los Angeles, or Carson to be precise. The Raiders (6-8) left Oakland for L.A. once already in 1982 before returning in 1995. “It’s the only way I know how to do it”.

It’s an emotional time for San Diego fans.

Floyd has announced he will retire at the end of the season.

At times it felt like an exhibition game and at times it felt like a playoff game. Rivers has three touchdown passes in his last three games. Like St. Louis and Baltimore after they lost the Cardinals and Colts, respectively, in the 1980s, San Diego could try to build a stadium in an effort to land a new team. Teammate Latavius Murray ran 15 times for 85 and a score.

Now the Chargers will finish out the remainder of the season on the road, facing the Raiders and the Denver Broncos.

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers looked like his old self again.

Gordon was benched twice by McCoy for fumbling this season, and finished without a touchdown during his rookie campaign.

Woodhead now has all six touchdowns scored by a Charger running back this season.

“Yeah, Danny was awesome”, Philip Rivers said. After the Chargers’ 30-14 win over the Dolphins, safety Eric Weddle stayed for at least an hour signing autographs for fans. It’s possible Gordon will be available for the final two games. “It’s not just a one-man show”. We have a bright future because of guys like him.
