Leading All-Star pick is ? Kobe?
Kobe Bryant #24 of the Los Angeles Lakers leads teh first returns for the 2016 All-Star Game ballot.
His presence in Oklahoma City would make the Thunder a more legitimate threat to Golden State and San Antonio in the Western Conference, though it’s hard to imagine Kobe and Russell Westbrook co-existing on the court with two basketballs let alone one. The All-Star Game will be played February 14 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. D’Angelo Russell tallied 18 while Jordan Clarkson and Robert Sacre added 10 points each for Los Angeles. Kobe Bryant has helped his Lakers to last place in the NBA Western Conference and at his rate, he is on pace to finish the season with the lowest single season field goal percentage for a player in NBA history, according to NBC Sports.
“With what he’s done with his career, he should be on the All-Star team”, Rivers said prior to his team’s Christmas Day showdown against the Lakers. Bryant also played five minutes off the bench on Christmas as a rookie in 1996.
For Facebook, a fan must post a status with #NBAVOTE and the player’s first and last name, which is far more labor intensive than simply pressing a retweet button on video of Bryant dunking with #NBAVOTE included in the tweet. Bryant has scored 280 points in the contest all-time. Bryant missed all three shots he took in the first quarter before scoring nine points in the second, including a pair of 3-pointers 29 seconds apart to help slice a 17-point deficit to 47-37 with 4:14 left. They have lost their last seven games against the Clippers. Curry is going to the more entertaining of the two players but it will be great to see both of them play together.
