Indianapolis Colts vs. Miami Dolphins
Yet another frustrating Miami Dolphins season is entering its home stretch.
Matt Hasselbeck wishes he only had that issue as the veteran quarterback is dealing with multiple injuries heading into Sunday’s tilt with the host Dolphins. In addition to the jaw injury, he has faced issues with his back, shoulder, neck and ribs. “We signed up for 16 regular season games, and we’re going to finish”. The atmosphere is not ideal. He had only 147 yards in the 16-10 loss to the Houston Texans last week, and the Texans accordingly snapped a 13-game skid to the Colts while Indianapolis fell one game behind the Texans in the AFC South division standings.

The Dolphins were never able to get rolling, and the Colts’ TY McGill sacked Miami’s QB in the end zone for a safety to take an early 2-0 lead. “It’s more the play-calling”. Like Miami the Colts defense is also struggling, giving up 112 combined points over the last three weeks. Donte Moncrief led in receiving with 51 yards and one touchdown.
At most sportsbooks monitored by OddShark.com, the Dolphins opened as just a one-point favorite.
The fourth-year quarterback has found a familiar target in shifty wideout Jarvis Landry, who needs just three receptions to become the first Miami player to reach the 100-catch plateau.
Even with nothing to play for, the Dolphins are the better bet. They finished off the drive when Frank Gore broke a tackle, on a cut back run, for 37 yards and a touchdown.
At 6-8 the Colts are likely playing in head coach Chuck Pagano’s last days while the Dolphins (5-9) have always been out of the playoff picture.
