Florida woman accused of going into Walmart, drinking wine and eating food
When authorities questioned the woman she allegedly said she was hungry and didn’t want to bring the food outside of the store. Police said she drove around a local Walmart in a motorized cart and ate food from the shelves that she did not pay for.
Lopez reportedly consumed $32.36 worth of food and drink while on the shopping floor, including mini muffins, cinnamon rolls, two bottles of S Home wine and a rotisserie chicken with sauce.
Bay News 9 reports that Josseleen Lopez, 20, was seen acting suspicious by the store’s loss prevention officer. She told detectives that she had used the syringes earlier to inject crystal meth.
Police found three empty syringes in her bags, which Lopez admitted were for “shooting up meth”, according to the affidavit.
According to Citrus County deputies, a loss prevention officer inside the Lecanto Walmart spotted Lopez riding a motorized cart with a half empty bottle of wine in the cart.
A woman faces shoplifting and paraphernalia charges after an an unusual spree at a Florida Walmart. So, she chose to consume everything inside the store. Lopez admitted to deputies she knew what she was doing was wrong, but she did it anyway.
The woman arrested at the Walmart in Lecanto, Florida, apparently has fallen on hard times and now has ended up in jail.
