Samsung Galaxy A9 with 6-inch screen, 4000mAh battery launched in China

The South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched its new Galaxy A9 smartphone in China, on Wednesday.
The upcoming new flagship device of Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S7, has been the subject of a number of rumors and leaks lately, hinting on a possible release date for the new device.
Initially, the model will be available in gold, white and pink colors, but, curiously, no darker shades. The company also showcased the recently announced Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) during the event along with the Galaxy A9. According to a report by Android Authority, the new gadget features an AMOLED screen that comes in 6 inches with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080.
But perhaps the most striking feature of the A9 is its battery.
Up until now, we received some info on the phone’s hardware and pictures of alleged Galaxy S7 cases, but here is another piece of the puzzle that could shed some light one the handset’s pricing. Samsung hasn’t confirmed whether or not it will release the device. It split its main flagship into many variations for instance, with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and more. The Galaxy A9 comes with very powerful features and it will start selling in China later in the month. Internal storage is of 32GB which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The A9’s rear camera will be a 13-megapixel example, while the front snapper will be 8-megapixel. Earlier this year, the company chose to mark down the prices of the device to boost sales, so, it wouldn’t be too unbelievable that the OEM has decided to make the Galaxy S7 more affordable than its predecessors. It’ll ship running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and packs a massive 4,000mAh battery that utilizes QuickCharge technology for speedy recharges.
On the positive side, the strategy of following the design of the Galaxy S6 will help Samsung meet the demands for the S6 Edge with curved screen. A fingerprint scanner and support for Samsung Pay are included as well.
