Seattle Seahawks: WR Doug Baldwin making loud noise

The Rams are looking to sweep the Seahawks this season and have an early lead into this game.

On 3-and-1 at midfield, Seattle fullback Will Tukuafu was met in the hole by Rams defender Mark Barron, a violent collision jarring the ball loose.

The first of those two contests will come Sunday at CenturyLink Field against the St. Louis Rams.

As such, today’s game against the St. Louis Rams is of vital importance.

“I think we’ve got some good feelings going, but we’ve got to continue to work and get better”, Keenum said. Seattle finished with 60 yards, well under its season average of 147.4.

Lewis’s second miscue came midway through the fourth quarter, when he rolled a snap past Wilson for a loss of 15 yards, turning a manageable third-and-two into a fourth-down punt. He also has 19 touchdown passes with no interceptions in that span. For the season, Wilson now has 3,538 passing yards with 29 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.

Baldwin set a record in the Seahawks franchise by receiving 14 touchdowns in a single season.

The Rams caught a couple of breaks early in the final quarter when Benny Cunningham fumbled on a third-down run in Seattle territory. Barnes recovered two St. Louis fumbles on the same drive, keeping it alive as the Rams eventually scored to go ahead 23-10 with 10:34 remaining. And once again, Barnes was down the field to fall on the football, this time making the recovery on the Seattle two-yard line. Christine Michael led in rushing with 84 yards in 16 carries.

The loss could end up being a figurative headache for the Seahawks (9-6), as it could cost them the fifth seed in the wild-card round and perhaps create a rougher road in the postseason. That’s secondary to trying to make sure what happened against the Rams isn’t repeated.
