Two Palestinian men shot dead by Israeli troops after wounding soldier

A Ma’an reporter identified the Palestinians as Muhammad Rafiq Hussien Sabana, 17, and Noor al-Deen Muhammad Abdul-Qadir Sabana, 23. Israel says 88 of them were attacking or attempting to attack Israelis while the rest died in clashes with Israeli troops.
Jerusalem District Police said that the man followed the soldier as he walked down HaTsvi Street and stabbed him in the upper body. Palestinians say the violence stems from frustration over almost five decades of Israeli military rule.
The latest round of US-brokered peace talks collapsed in April previous year.
Police said the attacker is a 30-year-old man with an Israeli ID card who lives on Azaria in central Israel.
