Peyton Manning denies using HGH, as per Al Jezeera report
A documentary by Al Jazeera alleges Manning received the HGH from an Indianapolis anti-aging clinic and that it was shipped to Manning’s wife, Ashley, so he could avoid detection.
Though Manning has vehemently denied the allegations and the source of the Al-Jazeera report has since recanted the claims he was shown making in the film, WADA says that it expects a careful investigation by the relevant authorities. “The treatment he received at the Guyer institute was provided on advice of a physician and with the knowledge of team doctors and trainers”.
The report connected Manning with a Texas pharmacist, Charlie Sly, who was linked to an anti-aging clinic in IN, and contains an undercover video of Sly telling a British hurdler of his alleged dealings with Manning. He also told ESPN he isn’t a pharmacist and that he wasn’t working at the Guyer Institute in 2011. Claims that he used a human growth hormone.
“He’s not answering the allegation that is in the program”, Davies insisted. “I would emphasize that Mr. Sly was never an employee of the Guyer Institute and his brief, three-month internship occurred in 2013 during which time Peyton was not even being treated or present in the office. I have not heard anyone deny that”.
“(Manning) and his wife would come in after hours and get IVs and s-.
The Denver Broncos released a statement this morning saying in part: “Knowing Peyton Manning and everything he stands for, the Denver Broncos support him 100 percent”. He added: “It never happened”. “Complete trash, garbage. There’s some more adjectives I’d like to be able to use, but it really makes me sick”.
The main source in the story now says the claims against Manning aren’t true.
“I’m that angry”, King said, relaying Manning’s comments when the former Tennessee quarterback was asked if he would sue Al Jazeera.
“We are thoroughly familiar with Peyton’s tireless work habits, his medical history, and, most importantly, his integrity”, the team said in a statement.
“I put in a lot of hard work”, he said.
But either way, Manning has a friend in Brady.
New York Daily News columnist Mike Lupica wrote: “If you are going to ruin Manning’s reputation, you need to have the goods on him”.
Major League Baseball said it would investigate allegations made in the documentary that several of its players took banned hormone supplement Delta-2.
“Peyton played the game in Indianapolis for 14 years the right way”. Nobody has more respect for Peyton than I do, and everything that he’s accomplished. Those are always challenging times, but he’s a tough guy, I know that.
