Boy Discovers Block of Wood Inside Playstation 4 Box on Christmas

But one little boy will always remember this particular Christmas…and not with the fondest memories.

Brian Lundy said his 9-year-old son Scott was super excited when he opened a present on Christmas and found a Playstation 4. It’s a PS4! You tear the box that the PS4 comes in apart, and to your utter disappointment, inside there is just a block of wood – but with an upside, there’s a dick drawn on the box.

On the box, a rude message from the person who had replaced the console with the wood read: “From c*** and balls with love”.

Scott’s dad Brian told Fox News that when his boy was given the gift he screamed: “This is the best present ever, this is the best Christmas ever”.

“He’s crying and he’s upset and he’s in playroom by himself”, recalled Lundy, the boy’s stepmother, to the TV station.

“This has ruined his belief in Santa”, Kristin Lundy wrote in a Facebook post that has been shared more than 7,000 times.

They bought the package at a nearby Target and the retailer was very nice about it, handing over a replacement PS4 and a $100 gift card to boot.

“We never like to disappoint our guests and are thankful for our store team’s quick response to make things right”, Lee Henderson with Target Communication told WFXT.

The Lundys said they told Scott the incident was the fault of a rogue elf whose actions will be reported to Santa Claus.
