Watch Kesha Performing at a Surprise Gig With Her New Group
They performed rock versions of her pop songs, so technically, she’s not making new music – but was definitely putting a new spin on the classics.
Sony Music bosses have hit back at Kesha after allegations were made during their ongoing legal battle with producer Dr. Luke that her career is being threatened with being over for good.
The 28-year-old singer – who is now locked in a bitter legal dispute with producer Dr Luke – took to the stage at the Springwater Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee, with the new group last week and vowed she will not be silenced. It was then uploaded by Kesha to her Facebook page, with a sort of warning attached to the clip. “Don’t worry NO ONE will ever shut me up”.
If you were actually out in Nashville last night (December 23) during the city’s tornado warnings, you may have heard Kesha performing live. “Hello world. We are”.
The singer confirmed the name of her new band in a tweet to fans on Christmas Day, which read: “HAPPY HOLLERDAYZ from Y E A S T I N F E C T I O N!!!”
Along with the video she wrote, “Thanks for all of the support this year!!!…Don’t worry NO ONE will ever shut me up”. Seriously, there can’t be more than a couple hundred people in the place.
