Downton Abbey scenes for Christmas Day episode shot at County Durham Museum

The overnight ratings for Christmas Day 2015 are in, and it is looking like this year’s Christmas Day viewing is the lowest since 2009. “I think it would be interesting to know how many people are on their second screens or how many have got their tablets on”.
It was the first time Downton had ever topped the Christmas ratings and a fitting end to the beloved series.
