The OnePlus X Champagne Edition launched in India for Rs. 16999

Users with an OnePlus X invite (Onyx variant) can purchase the smartphone via Amazon India. However the OnePlus X is the cheapest smart phone from Chinese tech startup yet.

Originally a China-exclusive, the Champagne edition was earlier this month made available in European markets.

The OnePlus X Onyx will be joined by a brand-new Champagne edition which will go on sale on Amazon India. However, it comes in champagne gold and white color options to deliver a premium look and feel over the existing variants. All-in-all, the handset features metal and glass unibody design with a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441ppi. The smartphone is Equipped with an internal storage of 16GB which can be later expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.3 GHz quad-core CPUs with 3GB RAM. It sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The dual-SIM capable smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and other standard connectivity features.

It comes pre-installed with an Android 5.1.1 customized OS, which OnePlus says has a number of improvements. Its battery is a 2,525 mAh non-removable battery. However, the open sale on every Tuesday for the OnePlus X does apply to Indian consumers.
