Backwards Compatibility on Xbox One a Work in Progress. Xbox…
More than 120 games are on sale, including popular games like “FIFA 16”, “Fallout 4” and “Minecraft”. The problem lies in the amount of frames that are rendered on-screen per second.
Consumers are unable to get their hands on the Xbox One Elite Controller, which is in huge shortage this holiday season.
“We’re aware some users are experiencing issues playing Halo: Reach via Xbox One Backward Compatibility”. The update was much needed for the Xbox One as fans were clamoring for backwards compatibility since the system was announced. Now some are wondering if Microsoft’s promise to deliver high quality digital versions of their Xbox 360 games for Xbox One free of charge is something the company can actually make happen.
There is no word yet from Microsoft regarding the issue and when will they start rolling out the fix for the massive FPS drop and stuttering on the platform.
Other gamers commented to say that they were experiencing more of the same. “I tried doing it on Legendary and set myself to be invincible, and there were so many Concussion Rifle blasts that I couldn’t even control my Spartan”, another gamer added.
One notable title recently added is “Halo: Reach”. To Microsoft’s credit, there are already some fan favorites available through the program.
While the framerate is not an issue for every title, it should be something to consider before getting these games for the Xbox One. According to the official press release, the titles now also made playable are “Braid”, “DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION”, “Doritos Crash Course”, “Fable III”, “Halo: Reach”, “Hydro Thunder”, “Iron Brigade”, “Kane & Lynch 2” “Motocross Madness”, “MS.PAC-MAN”, “Peggle”, “Portal: Still Alive”, “Spelunky”, “Splosion Man” “Ticket to Ride™” and “Zuma’s Revenge!”
