How would a dog wear trousers? Question sparks big debate online

The argument for the second is that trousers are meant to cover the limbs attached to our buttocks (and our buttocks themselves), and thus this is what dog trousers should focus on. Trousers have two legs. Two.

One of the year’s biggest memes has squeaked in just under the wire. Like “the dress” before it, the image has people fervently debating: just how would a dog wear trousers? But the four-legged camp is hanging on doggedly.. Memes do seem to get stuck in your head, like bad songs (see below).

Specifically, if dogs were to wear trousers, would they slip them on the back two legs or go for all four?

The image became popular after Maxim magazine deputy editor Jared Keller tweeted it and he later spoke to the creator “Norbert” for an article.

For the record, Keller says he’s a four pant leg man.

Most users suggested that a dog would only wear trousers on its two rear legs, but Utopian Raspberry believes that since dogs do not technically have arms, they would wear trousers on all of their legs.
