Bush isn’t going to get anywhere imitating the bullying tactics of Trump; he will succeed only in further sullying his family name.

But a punchier Bush hasn’t necessarily translated into movement in the polls.

The famously outspoken Trump appeared to have started the social media battle Monday at about 10 p.m. when he retweeted a message from a follower calling Bush’s strategy of attacking Trump “really dumb”. Echoing another theme from the campaign trail, Bush told journalists they have been manipulated by Trump.
