Donald Trump is not a fan of pump hairspray

Cruz’s campaign is aiming for top performances on March 1, when much of the Cruz-friendly South votes and on the single day on the GOP calendar with the most delegates at stake. Speaking at an Iowa rally Tuesday, Trump told voters to “just remember” that “to the best of my knowledge, not too many evangelicals come out of Cuba”.

Trump said he’s focusing his spending on the next four weeks.

Trump has spent very little so far on his campaign, thanks in large part to all the free media attention he has enjoyed, especially from the broadcast and cable news networks.

Jeb Bush, a frequent target of Trump’s, defended his brother’s record.

“We’re living in a divided country right now and we need political leaders rather than continuing to divide us – as both President Obama and Donald Trump do – to unite us”, he said.

“I don’t want to take any chances”, Trump said, as he pledged to spend “a lot of money” to attack any candidate who attacks him. His campaign is also redirecting $3 million worth of advertising toward voter mobilization and organizing efforts in the early states.

Bush is trailing in most polls behind Trump and Texas Sen. But Trump, who has developed a pattern of attacking those who cross him in ways others won’t, said Wednesday that Hillary Clinton had forced his hand. Trump told a crowd of supporters in Hilton Head, South Carolina, that the former president had a history of “tremendous abuse” of women.

Turnout could also be problematic for Trump.

And while the Trump team might argue that they can win based on bringing newcomers into the Iowa caucus process, there has been no dramatic increase in the number of registered Iowa voters. “We are too close”, he said.

New Hampshire will host the first presidential primary on February 9, just nine days after the caucuses in Iowa.

At a September meeting, 44 of 74 members of the party’s State Central Committee chose to have voters sign the pledge, according to meeting minutes.

Jeb Bush, the one-time Republican front-runner who now trails Donald Trump, puts the blame on President Barack Obama for the rise and popularity of the brash billionaire.

Sanders and Clinton are still running neck-and-neck in New Hampshire. That’s according to numbers compiled by ABC News.

The former Florida governor made the remark in a year-ending interview with NPR News. It canceled planned ad buys in Iowa and SC, pointing out that the superPAC supporting the governor had bought a chunk of ad time there.

While these fights are playing out in Iowa, many of these candidates are fighting even harder for New Hampshire.
