Tonya Couch arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on a flight from Mexico in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service and was taken in handcuffs through the terminal to an unmarked Dodge Charger early Thursday morning.

Since Tonya Couch is back in the USA and in the custody of American law enforcement, it is very likely that she will be back in Texas sooner than her son.
Tonya Couch, 38, was charged with hindering apprehension of a felon, a felony, ABC News reported.
If convicted, she could face between two to 10 years in jail, according to Texas prosecutors.
Even if a Mexican immigration court does decide to send Couch back to the United States, he might not face much time behind bars. Texas officials have said it will depend on the timetable established by Mexican authorities.
Couch was declared officially missing December 10 when he did not appear at a mandatory meeting with his probation officer.
During the sentencing phase of Ethan Couch’s trial, a defence expert argued that his wealthy parents coddled him into a sense of irresponsibility – a condition the expert termed “affluenza”.
The mother and son were detained in Puerto Vallarta after Ethan Couch placed a pizza order with Domino’s on his personal cellphone.
Tonya Couch was picked up in Mexico alongside her son Ethan on Monday and she was deported to California on Wednesday.
The immigration official spoke on condition of anonymity because he or she was not authorized to be quoted by name.

Tarrant County Sheriff Dee Anderson, however, saw the act as “one more way of delaying justice”.
“Couch continues to make a mockery of the system”, said Fort Worth attorney Bill Berenson, who represented Sergio Molina. The Couches were taken into custody Monday evening and handed over to immigration officials.
Couch pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter. He could be held in Mexico for at least two weeks.
Because Couch is on juvenile probation, any punishment would be limited to the terms of probation set in juvenile court.
Couch, who had grown up with wealth and privilege, was sentenced to a drug- and alcohol-free probation, but again made headlines this month, after disappearing along with his mother.
Couch and his mother fled from the United States earlier this month after a video surfaced online that apparently showed Ethan Couch at a party where beer was being consumed.
“He’ll be there until his appeal is over, which will ultimately end in deportation”, the migration official said, adding that Couch would not be allowed out of the facility.
During a hearing in February 2014, Boyd told the families that her decision had nothing to do with a psychologist’s comment about “affluenza” during his testimony for the defense.
“Maybe she was assisting the violation of his probation”.
The stiffest punishment Ethan Couch can receive for fleeing the country while on probation is several months in jail, Wilson said Tuesday.
