Wisconsin Gov. Issues Order To Arm National Guard Troops
Wisconsin joins a handful of states that have moved to allow certain National Guard personnel to carry weapons following shootings at two military sites that are being investigated as domestic terrorism. “I am also directing Adjutant General Donald Dunbar to evaluate longer-term plans to ensure the safety of our service members”.
Wisconsin is joining six other states in arming on-duty National Guard members after last week’s deadly Chattanooga shootings.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Gov. Scott Walker’s top adviser says he welcomes the growing Republican presidential field and feels good about the money Walker has raised so far, even though it trails others.

Capt. Jim Stenger, a spokesman for the Marines’ 9th District, said the corps appreciates the support but doesn’t want citizens standing guard at offices.
