Clear skies with cold temperatures for New Year’s Day

Light winds and high humidity will combine to create areas of fog throughout the region Wednesday night.

Temperatures will only slowly fall overnight due to cloud cover.by morning expect mid 20s to near 30 degrees.

Our wind shifts slightly to the southwest helping to warm temperatures up a little.

This weekend will be sunny and seasonable, with highs in the 50s, morning lows in the 30s. Temperatures rise into the middle 40s during the afternoon hours, however, winds will make it feels like it’s in the upper 30 and lower 40s.

Today: Mostly sunny with light wind, high around 40.

Overnight: Skies will continue to slowly clear. Temperatures will be in the mid-30s when the ball drops and we officially welcome in 2016.

Sunny on Sunday with highs in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny skies and chilly temperatures will be around, with a high temperature of 36 degrees.

A high of 35 is expected Thursday.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will develop on Friday, with a high of 47 degrees.
