Guus Hiddink confident of Chelsea revival
Blame was clearly not being apportioned to Mourinho for the nine losses in 16 league games before Saturday.
“Absolutely and rightly so as well”, captain John Terry said when asked about the discontent.
“They’ll support us through this hard period and we will come out on top sooner or later”.
A powerful header from Branislav Ivanovic followed by a close-range effort from Pedro but the Blues 2-0 up within 13 minutes against a Sunderland side all at sea at the back.
“Where were you when you were (expletive)?” Oscar was also on hand to dispatch Chelsea’s final goal from the spot – his first in the league since the opening day of the season. “Jose hopes that his future after Chelsea this time will be as successful as when he left the club in 2007”.
“All of us has a responsibility for what has happened and all of us are responsible for where we are in this moment”, he said. It was a good performance and we needed that.

Hiddink and Abramovich were joined in the stand by former Blues favourite Didier Drogba, although the club played down reports of an imminent return to the club for the striker in a coaching capacity. “You let us down”.
Hiddink will take charge until the end of the season but Chelsea are reportedly in talks with Atletico Madrid boss Simeone over taking charge at the end of the current campaign.
FC’s Steve Nicol believes that Chelsea are still vulnerable in the post-Mourinho era despite their win over Sunderland. “The manager has lost his job because of that”.
He was very demanding, his training sessions were intense, he’ll demand from everyone, and he’s a great man-manager as well.
