Honda Jazz price and specs – costs from £13,495
After being officially unveiled back in February this year, and then brought to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, one month later, the European version of the Honda Jazz, in its new generation, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the releasing of some new images.
Building on the strong reputation of its predecessors, the Jazz retains its familiar silhouette, albeit updated with a distinctive and contemporary styling, with a new grille and strong character lines. Use the Magic Seat system and a loading length of 2,480mm is yours, which should be handy for tricky loads.
Up from the S model is SE, which adds rear parking sensors, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors, 15-inch alloys and Driver Assistance Safety Pack comprised a forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, intelligent speed limiter, lane departure warning and high-beam support system. For this kind of money, the buyer is treated with smart entry and start, automatic climate control and six-speaker audio upgrade, along with 16-inch alloy wheels and front fog lamps.
Customers opting for the SE or EX models will also benefit from the Honda Connect in-car infotainment system as standard. Also, every grade is fitted with Honda’s City-Brake Active to help avoid low-speed crashes. It’s capable of 56.5mpg and emits 116g/km of Carbon dioxide with the standard six-speed manual, but for an extra £1,100 you can have a newly-developed CVT automatic ‘box which improves those stats to 61.4mpg and 106g/km. This Android-based system features an app-based “pinch, swipe and tap” interface accessed on a seven-inch touchscreen in the centre of the dash. Integrated Garmin sat-nav is optional on SE or EX models.
