“Captain America: Civil War” Spoilers: Steve Rogers Will Die, Says Source
While promoting Captain America: Civil War in China, Russo explained how he was cool with fans shipping together the two heroes and how they have every right to do so.
It is also said that the movie will have a scene where Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) will pick up a protection each determining Steve Roger’s heir as Captain America following his death. Their argument threatens not only the superhero team, but the future of all masked crime-fighting.
Some time ago we heard about a scene in which the newest Avenger, Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) sat atop one of Hawkeye’s (Jeremy Renner) arrows as the archer prepared to fire him into battle, and now we have our first glimpse of how it might well go down in the movie. According to Comic Book Resources, an unconfirmed source revealed that the film’s opening scene would involve Peggy Carter’s funeral while the ending scene would feature a funeral for Steve Rogers. Now, because Chris Evans has already been confirmed to appear in the Avengers: Infinity War movies, we know Steve will be back to fight another day (unless his role is just through flashbacks).
“Captain America: Civil War” will premiere on May 6, 2016 in USA theaters while United Kingdom will premiere on April 29, 2016. During the film, Steve will make a deal with the government stating they are not to hunt down the people that allied with him in the civil war.
Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity.
But another recent leak has pointed to yet another major character kill-off to happen in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War”, and that will be the death of Captain America himself.
Of course, this twist comes nearly verbatim from the Civil War comics, so take this rumor with a massive, stomach cancer-inducing grain of salt.
