Coach Phillip Fulmer responds to Peyton Manning HGH controversy
One of the journalists behind a documentary linking Peyton Manning to performance-enhancing drugs is now clarifying her report. An extraordinary claim, it raised questions whether an American sporting hero, Peyton manning, is linked to performance-enhancing drugs. Manning himself has categorically denied all allegations regarding his HGH use, and is arming himself with some heavy guns (a speaker for now) in order this escalates somehow.
On Monday, Manning fired back and told ESPN, saying: “It makes me sick that it brings Ashley into it, her medical history, her medical privacy being violated, that makes me sick. It never happened. Never”, Manning said in a statement released by the Broncos.
“The statements on any recordings or communications that Al Jazeera plans to air are absolutely false and incorrect”, Sly said. “That when Charlie Sly worked at the Guyer during part of his training, his rotation for pharmacy, the clinic was sending out not one shipment, but repeated shipments to Ashley Manning in Florida”, Davies said.
He’s not alone, either. They’re now defending and clarifying their story and Ryan smith as the latest.
Sly also said he recanted his story to Al Jazeera when he realized that it had used information he had “made up” to British hurdler Collins.
A “furious” Peyton Manning told ESPN today he would never “cut corners”, denying allegations in an Al Jazeera report saying that the star quarterback was supplied with a human growth hormone in 2011.
Al Jazeera is standing firm behind its explosive report that links Peyton Manning’s wife to banned drugs dispensed by an anti-aging clinic.
“It’s inexcusable and irresponsible that Al Jazeera would provide a platform and broadcast outright lies about Mr. Howard and Mr. Zimmerman”, Burck said in a statement. But the five-time NFL MVP emphatically said that he is angry at the report that he received HGH. Even Sly backed off his recorded statements.
Why would Sly have lied to Al Jazeera to begin with?
Davies said she also wanted to know what medical condition may have required Ashley Manning to be prescribed HGH drugs.
Al Jazeera defended its reporting by providing the Huffington Post with transcripts of its phone call to the Guyer Institute.
“I’ve seen that look on his face before, and his tone of voice”.
Manning said he’s had a good week of work without the soreness that developed in his injured foot last week and hopes to return to practice next week. That was the extent of any knowledge I had. I feel badly. I never saw any files.
