GoFundMe Page Created To Support Strickland Search Efforts
Oklahoma search crews are looking for country music singer Craig Strickland, 29, after an ominous tweet preceded his sudden disappearance. Their boat capsized around the same time a massive storm hit the area.
On Monday, searchers discovered Chase Morland’s body near their overturned boat.
The former Miss Arkansas also updated followers about search efforts on Twitter Friday. “No major updates, but we’re hopeful for tomorrow”. Thank you everyone for all of your continued prayers and support.
Craig Strickland is pictured with his wife Helen. “But then, when we least expect it, He speaks and comforts us in such lovely ways”. She got up and started cleaning out a closet and found a Bible with Craig Strickland’s name inside. “She spent the next 45 minutes searching scripture that Craig has highlighted”.
“It’s more painful for us to think he could be underwater”.

“For everyone wanting to know, Sam is fine”, Helen Strickland tweeted on Tuesday.
She sent out another tweet to her followers three hours later with a renewed plea for prayers, writing: ‘Craig is still missing. He loves you and I, and desires good for our lives.
As the days go on, Helen continues to pray and thank her family and friends for their support during the rough time: She wrote a lengthy post on Instagram Friday, saying, “Thank you to my sweet friends for being there for me during one of my rougher days”.
Lieutenant Kera Philippi said, “We understand people want to volunteer in the search”. “He is on fire for God, his Wife, his family, his life, and this band”. Musician Tyler Rich recounted on Facebook that he and Strickland were sitting at a Nashville bar about two months ago, talking about “how excited we were to see what each of us would be able to accomplish in 2016”.
A note from Strickland’s father, Randy Strickland, read, “We are hurting, but our God is an awesome God, and our trust in him will not be tarnished”.
