Skywriters have message for Trump at Rose Parade
“Trump Loves To Hate” said yet another.
Skywriters scrawled a message for Republican front-runner Donald Trump over Friday’s Rose Bowl Parade.
During the parade, skywriting appeared that read “America is great”, “Trump is disgusting”, “Anybody but Trump”, “Ioawans dump Trump”, and “Trump is a Fascist”. It’s time somebody stood toe to toe with him.
Messages dotted in the sky said: “America is great”. Although Pate reportedly said he was undecided about whom he will support in the presidential race this year, he was an early contributor to U.S. Sen.
He was satisfied with the results of the campaign, particularly on social media, he explained, where he admitted it was hard to predict what would go viral.
Fans who turned out at the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day were treated to an incredible aerial display.
“Anybody but Trump” was the message scrawled across the skies. In 2010, he paid for a banner flying over the college football national championship game between Alabama and Texas calling for the impeachment of then- Alabama Gov. Bob Riley.
But it was another reminder of the controversial and polarising nature of the Trump campaign which has seen him accuse Mexico of exporting its criminals to the U.S. and, in the wake of the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, call for a ban on Muslims entering the country.
Pate’s skywriting efforts were meant to promote his new website, AnybodyButTrump.us, and he says he has more publicity stunts planned ahead of the Iowa caucuses, which take place February 1st. “We gotta make sure that he has to tighten up his saddle”, Pate says.
