Windows 10 OS Reaches 164 Million Users By 2016

Windows 10’s growth tempo has fallen behind that of Windows 7’s during its first five months after release, according to Net Applications.
But there are a bunch of other things Windows 10 still needs in addition to just increasing the sheer number of users. The bad news? Only certain phones are eligible to take advantage of the download.
As per Net Applications as well as StatCounter, the Windows 10 adaption rate over 5 months is slower than that of the Windows 7 OS.
Microsoft needs a more full answer to payments. WMPowerUser.com did speculate that we could see the new Windows 10 update as early as the middle of January, but nothing official has been announced just yet.
Right now the mobile OS is only available on the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL handsets.
To upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile, users are required to also have Lumia Denim OS version 8.10.14219.341 or above installed. That’s its newest version of the Office suite you’ve been using forever. Additionally, while some have criticized Windows 10 from a privacy standpoint, the OS did manage to bring back the true desktop feel, which was lost in Windows 8 with the launch of the Metro UI.
