Asus Zenfone Max launched with 5000mAh battery at Rs 9999
ASUS ZenFone Max primary camera has f/2.0-aperture lens with ultra-fast laser auto-focus that ensures crystal clear images and enables the smartphone to capture up to 400 percent brighter photos in low light conditions.
Priced at a fair amount of Rs 9,999, the Zenfone Max is right now available for pre-orders via Flipkart.
The Taiwanese tech giant confirmed that the Zenfone Max will be made available at its exclusive stores and other brick-and-mortar retail stores across India from second fortnight of January onwards.
The USP of the new Zenfone model is its massive, 5,000mAh battery pack that is claimed to deliver over 37 hours of 3G talk time or over 32 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing web fully charged.
It’s even possible to turn it into an innovative power bank to charge other devices, enabling uninterrupted work and play.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution.
ZenFone Max’s powerful battery requires fewer charging cycles making it last longer and more efficient. “Timed perfectly with the new year, ZenFone Max takes our vision of providing luxury at an affordable price further”, says Peter Chang, Regional Head – South Asia and Country Manager for Asus India, in a press statement. Talking about the storage, there’s 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64GB via a Micro SD card. This 4G smartphone comes with Asus’s ZenUI software, based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), out of the box. It was first showcased in India back in August a year ago. It comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. It uses the latest 4G LTE technology for high mobile data speeds.
