Powerball jackpot expected to grow to $400 million Wednesday
More than $450 million is up for grabs in the first jackpot drawings of 2016.
Time to buy a ticket and say a prayer – the Powerball bonanza for Wednesday’s drawing is worth roughly $400 million. The next drawing is Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 7:29 p.m. with a jackpot of $3.8 million.
The prize pool of $334 million is the 12-largest in Powerball history.
One or more lucky Powerball ticket holders might be in for a sweet ’16.
