Weather: A full week of rain
Sunday began with temperatures hovering near freezing.
After record-high temperatures throughout December, the Lehigh Valley is finally feeling the chill.
According to a report from the national weather service, there was a winter advisory in effect through the morning hours and a possible 1-4 inches of snow. Monday will be partly sunny, with a high near 33 and a low around 21. Sunday will also be sunny with a high near 46. Forecasters predict a mostly cloudy Monday, with a change of rain and a high of 70 degrees before the air cools to low 60s and possibly upper 50s Monday night.
The wind will calm down by Tuesday night, which will be clear with a low around 14. The chance for showers will increase after 9 p.m. The chance for precipitation on Thursday night is about 60 percent. Saturday, rain and snow showers are likely with a high near 43. There is a 30 percent chance for rain on Saturday night, when the low is expected to be around 46. Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 36 and a low around 27.
