And it seems like that’s been long enough for Future the elder, whose real name is Nayvadius Wilburn, to wait for what he wants.

Someone must have given Future a sack of coal for Christmas, and not that keepsake diary he requested, because he’s back on Twitter venting about his parenting relationship with Ciara.

The one thing that’s presumably hampered the banner year is his cold war with ex-fiancee Ciara, the singer and mother of the rapper’s son, also named Future.

In five separate tweets, Future blasted Ciara and said he has to go through a lot of trouble to see his son, although he pays plenty of child support. Earlier today (Jan. 4), the Freebandz president took to Twitter to air his grievances. Maybe baby Future’s schedule is just too jam packed with playdates with Russell Wilson to fit in daddy time. “I [just] want babyfuture that’s all”. “I gotta go through lawyers to see baby Future”.

Given how public and polarizing Future and Ciara’s issues have been – with celebrities and fans alike choosing sides, one can only hope that they finally figure this out in 2016. I [have] been silent for a year and a half… I ran out of patience.
