Gyllenhaal stuck around for Gad’s segment, and the fork quickly made a reappearance.

Sandler continued to roast Fallon, mocking his hospital stay and talking about his sponge bath, before launching into a rendition of Willie Nelson’s “All The Girls I’ve Loved Before” … which Fallon gamely joined in to duet on. Television publishers super-imposed each celebrity’s lip onto another, which means that it looked as while Fallon and Sandler were really speaking on behalf of the other. Gad deadpanned with convincing anger.

But instead he chose to just sound goofy – play to your strengths, I guess.
