Chargers keep head coach Mike McCoy; fire six coaches
The San Diego Union-Tribune reports the Chargers have discussed coach Mike McCoy calling the offensive plays in 2016. Tom Telesco, Mike McCoy, and I have already begun evaluating every aspect of the team to take the essential steps to put a winning product back on the field.
The announcement came one day after the Chargers completed the 2015 season with a win-loss record of 4-12, finishing in last place in the AFC West by three games. If you could clone any player on the team when it comes to heart and effort, Woodhead would be a solid first choice.

On Monday night, team chairman Dean Spanos filed for relocation to Carson, an industrial suburb of Los Angeles. It was his first poor campaign as a coach, and injuries were definitely a factor in the team’s struggles. But after rushing for 4,915 yards and 45 career touchdowns, including 2,587 yards and 29 scores previous year, Gordon failed to find the end zone before having his season end with a knee injury.
