Manziel: Wigging Out In Vegas?
We were skeptical that somebody as famous as Manziel-not to mention how he seems to attract SnapChats and furtive creep shots-could spend an entire night partying in Vegas without a single photo leaking, and now we have at least one explanation why.
BEREA, Ohio (AP) – Johnny Manziel rejoined his teammates in time to pack up after another dismal season.
Johnny Manziel may be washed up with the Cleveland Browns after the often-trouble quarterback missed a concussion treatment session at the team’s training facility on Sunday and was reportedly gambling in Las Vegas. The tl;dr is that Manziel went to a Las Vegas strip club on Saturday night, called himself Billy and wore “a blonde wig, a fake mustache, glasses and a hoodie”.
“You can’t really tell him what to do”, Shelton said of the Las Vegas story. Or do you think that Johnny’s time is up?
With the season done, and coach Mike Pettine being fired, Manziel’s future is up in the air.
A message left for Manziel’s agent, Erik Burkhardt, was not immediately returned Monday.
According to ESPN, the team will find a new coach, who will then help choose the next general manager.
“I am going to let the guys upstairs do their job”, Bitonio said when asked about Manziel.
ESPN Las Vegas also reported that by 3 a.m., Manziel “appeared to be enjoying the party scene that Vegas is known to offer”. The dual-threat quarterback, who ran for 108 yards in 11 carries and passed for another 136 yards during the loss, did not attend the game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who won the game, 28-12.
Manziel, who Browns coach Mike Pettine said still must address off-field problems that resulted in a stint in rehab previous year, paid cash for a meal at a restaurant in the casino, according to Tina Samira, a waitress who served Manziel and his guests at Heart Bar at Planet Hollywood.
Manziel apparently has been found though, and was seen Monday morning at the Browns facility, though he was not allowed to speak with the media per concussion protocol policies.
There might not be anyone willing to give up a seventh-round draft pick for him in trade. “I’ll leave it at that”.
