Peyton Manning Enlists Fleischer for PR Amid PED Report

The Al-Jazeera America report features an undercover conversation with a man who claims a shipment of human growth hormone was delivered to Manning’s home under his wife Ashley’s name. Needless to say, it was a bit shocking when an Al Jazeera report cited Manning as having used HGH during his recovery process from neck surgery in 2011, causing him to miss the entire 2011 season.

Ari Fleischer, an adviser to Manning and a former White House press secretary, told The Denver Post on Saturday that his team would wait to view Al Jazeera’s full documentary before deciding whether to sue. He’s fighting back, blalsing the report accusing him of using a banned human growth hormone to help him recover from a potential career-ending neck injury.

Aside from the ESPN interview, Manning also released a personal statement today, saying, “The allegation that I would do something like that is complete garbage and is totally made up”.
