Johnny Manziel wore blonde wig, glasses in Vegas
The club had Manziel and his crew placed at a VIP table close to the DJ booth. While the area in the club was private, it was still visible to the rest of the people at the venue.
Though multiple reports have indicated that Manziel was in Vegas, the report by ESPN Las Vegas was the first to detail Manziel as in disguise.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback made headlines (shocker) again this weekend after the team reportedly couldn’t find him Sunday morning.
The Heisman Trophy victor was back at the team’s headquarters Monday as the Browns regrouped one day after a season-ending loss to Pittsburgh and the firings of Pettine and general manager Ray Farmer. The quarterback posted a picture of he and his dog with the hashtag #SaturdayNights on Instagram and later added Avon, Ohio as the picture’s location. The 23-year-old was not expected to play in Sunday’s game due to concussion concerns. Although it seemed that after completing a rehab program previous year and then re-joining the Browns for the season he was working at staying out of the negative spotlight, Manziel began to slip again causing him to be benched by Cleveland. Manziel’s tenure with the Browns has been filled with drama and letdowns. While the owner would clearly have an opinion, Haslam said he didn’t think it was the appropriate time to express it. Nine-time Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Thomas said in regards to Manziel on Sunday, “I just want to know that the Cleveland Browns are the most important thing in that person’s life”. “He is smart, very organized, good at systems and processes and an outstanding team player”, Haslam said.
In the wake of Cleveland unloading personnel at the regular season’s end, reports of Manziel showing up to practice “inebriated” have surfaced.
“That will be completely their call”, Haslam said of the front office’s dealings with Manziel.
That has to be great news to the coaching candidates rolling into town this week, including Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin, Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase and former Bills head coach Doug Marrone.
