Donald Trump: ‘You won’t be able to get guns’
“I reprimanded him, now the press can’t be angry”.
Trump also used the interview to slam areas where guns are prohibited or restricted, saying, “Whenever I see gun-free zone, that’s a flag for the whackos to come in and start shooting people”.
“He just wants to sign executive orders all the time”, said Trump.
The Republican frontrunner was speaking in front of an audience in Claremont, New Hampshire, when he brought up the Iran deal, and asked, “Who would would make this deal?”
Trump went on to say that the problem is more about mental health than it is about guns.
Prior to the event Trump issued a broadside against rival Ted Cruz questioning the Texas senator’s citizenship, but on the stump Trump didn’t utter Cruz’s name. “I mean, you should be getting Congress together and there’s supposed to be agreement”.
“If the people in Paris had guns, you know what, you wouldn’t have had 134 people and many more to follow get killed”, he said.
Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy asked Trump for his reaction on Wednesday. Cause you know when this person said the other day, and again I’m not gonna mention the name of the person, but when this person said three, four days ago ‘the wall, ‘ I said shouldn’t he give me some credit? “They’re the most loyal of the people”.
Trump articulated his vision of a conservative leader – “a president with heart” – one he said may not match the typical Republican prototype but one he says America needs. You are admonished. We should throw him the hell out of here.
“If everybody shows up, we’re going to have a great situation”.
But Trump said last night, “When he puts himself out there, he becomes fair game”. There’s a lot of love in the air, I can tell you. First, he referenced the September brouhaha over his failure to correct a supporter who asserted President Obama is a Muslim by jokingly scolding an audience member who shouted a similar remark Tuesday night in Claremont, New Hampshire.
