Israeli military says homes of 2 Palestinian attackers are demolished, sealed off

Until now, the case has gone unsolved since the toddler and his parents were killed.
He said that although the investigation remains under a gag order, the court had indicated Sunday it would file a request to have that order lifted. A lawyer for one of the suspects says his client gave a forced confession after interrogators deprived him of sleep and tied him upside down by his feet.
Palestinians accuse Israel of waging an aggressive campaign to “Judaize” the city of Jerusalem with the aim of effacing its Arab and Islamic identity and ultimately driving out its Palestinian inhabitants. “Surely an attack like this must have involved a whole group of people”, Nasser Dawabsheh, Saad’s brother, told the Washington Post. Israeli forces claim that many of those killed were attempting to carry out attacks but this has been disputed by Palestinians and rights groups. “We want to stress that we are against any and all violence against any person”. “We are a country of (the rule of) law and we will implement the law in all parts of the state of Israel, and on all its citizens”. The gunman, an Israeli Arab, is at large.

Israel’s Shin Bet security service says the suspects admitted to carrying out the attack, saying it was in retaliation for the killing of an Israeli a month earlier.
In an apparent escalation of hostilities between Israel and Palestinians in the West Bank, Israeli soldiers came under sniper fire in two separate incidents on Sunday, both in the area of Hebron.
Amiram Ben-Uliel, 21, from the northern settlement of Shilo in the occupied West Bank, was charged with three counts of murder and one of attempted murder, arson and conspiracy to commit a hate crime, said the Israeli court indictment.
“We will not allow Jewish terrorists to harm the lives of Palestinians in Judea and Samaria”, Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said in a statement.
