Tori Spelling in Competition with Mom Candy

Tori Spelling opened up about her relationship with her mom Candy Spelling. Currently there is not much in the relationship and it is at its low. Both of them have gone through the highs and lows of their relationship in the last two decades.

Tori just limits her contact with Candy Spelling to text messages and there is not much communication from both the sides. However they have they share a mutual connection which is affection for the late TV legend Aaron Spelling. Its not that there is no hope left in their relationship but it is kind of hard to get back to the normal one.

Tori said that she still wants a mother-daughter relationship which has acceptance for everything which is there and not what wants it to be. She said she does not know what actually went wrong between the two but ever since she has grown up, she has always been close to her father than her mother. She believes that the feud was created between the two by her father as he always positioned both of them as good and bad and created the dynamic. Candy Spelling cannot be blamed for the rift between the mother and daughter alone.

Tori feel her father was responsible for creating such a competitive relationship between the mother and daughter. She said that her father was a very good man and everybody wanted his attention. When all his attention came upon Tori, Candy Spelling had some problem. According to Candy Spelling side of the story, she has always reached out to Tori and has helped her in her tumultuous financial crisis by sending money and helping financially. However Tori have not been responsive enough. Candy has also repeatedly tried to pay for Tori’s kids schooling but then Tori never responded.
