Obama urges United States citizens to stop gun violence
A Fox News contributor on Tuesday suggested President Obama used raw onions to fake tears while he was talking about school shootings. Undoubtedly, bipartisan legislative action that encompasses the many aspects of gun violence would be a preferable means of addressing the gun violence epidemic that affects Americans of all political ideologies, races, genders and economic classes.

Sandra Wortham’s brother Thomas Wortham III was a Chicago Police Officer shot to death in front of his parents’ home in 2010.
The US President said that the county is going to hire more people to process applications faster.
Speaking on curbing gun violence on Tuesday, President Obama said, Anybody in the business of selling firearms must get a license and conduct background checks or be subject to criminal prosecution. “And in Columbine, they went through the background checks”.
The ATF has also created an Internet Investigation Center that will track all illegal online firearms trafficking called the National Integrated Ballistics Information Network.
Investing in mental health care: “The Administration is proposing a new $500 million investment to increase access to mental health care”. Obama’s emotionally charged speech had references to Martin Luther King Jr, he said, “We do have to feel a sense of urgency about it. In Dr. King’s words, we need to feel the fierce urgency of now, because people are dying,”. We commend President Obama for his bold action with the executive orders. “The gun lobby may be holding Congress hostage right now, but they can’t hold America hostage”, he said.
The executive order would override state gun laws and close gun sales loopholes.
