Browns are ‘so done’ with Johnny Manziel
Johnny Manziel is grabbing the headlines for allegedly partying when he shouldn’t have been again. Oh, yeah, it gets weirder. Mitch Moss, a show host on the ESPN Las Vegas radio station, reported Manziel went to a “popular club on the strip” on Saturday night.
Manziel was reportedly back in Ohio Monday morning. While the owner would clearly have an opinion, Haslam said he didn’t think it was the appropriate time to express it. “Haven’t talked to him”.
The name’s Billy, Billy Football… actually I don’t have a surname.. He said, “They can be in the stadium, but they’re not required”, and “They’re not permitted to be on the sideline”. Pettine said that Manziel was in the League’s post-concussion protocol.
Typically, players who have concussions are sensitive to noise, light and are encouraged to rest as they recover.
(Berea) – The Cleveland Browns fired head coach Mike Pettine after Sunday’s home loss to the Steelers.
But as always, Manziel was a topic of conversation. He used the hashtag (hash)SaturdayNights.
As Browns players cleaned out their lockers for the season Monday, most spoke highly of Brown, though they had few dealings with him in his role as counsel.
Meanwhile, rumors swirl that Manziel wants out. “I don’t think structure is quite as important as right people in the right place and everybody understanding their roles and working well together”, he said.
You really can’t make this stuff up. You root for him, but there are problems there. I know they’re bringing in a new regime and maybe for Johnny himself, if they give him a chance, it’s going to be a fresh start for him in that aspect. “If I only played well in three games, I would be out of here too”. He spent 10 weeks in rehab from January through April 2015.
Manziel’s two years with the Browns have been filled with off-field incidents that have created a distraction and called into question his decision-making.
