Dell announces the UltraSharp 30 4K OLED monitor
One of Dell’s eye-catching new products is the UltraSharp 30 OLED monitor, the company’s first OLED display. The Dell 23 Wireless Monitor is a 23 inch full HD display that lets you cast your screen from both Android and Windows devices using Miracast and Bluetooth. Dell has ticked a few of those boxes with its CES 2016 line-up, with the UltraSharp 24 Wireless Monitor and UltraSharp 30 Ultra HD OLED monitor sharing top billing in the range. The monitor is targeted at professionals working in color-critical environments such as graphic arts and photography, the company said. It also has a response time of just 0.1ms.
Windows Central reports that this OLED monitor will not suffer from image “burn-in” thanks to an algorithm in the monitor firmware.
“The UP3017Q features a 30” 4K 3840 x 2160 OLED panel with a pixel density of 146 pixels per inch.
Elsewhere, the new UltraSharp Ininity Edge monitors promise ultra-thin borders along with an an arm promising greater adjustment flexibility and integrated management of cables.
Last but not least, Dell announced the Dell UltraSharp 24 Wireless monitor and Dell 23 Wireless monitor. In addition, the 23-inch model also includes built-in speakers and a wireless charging stand for mobile devices.
Dell haven’t announced any price specification or a release date for the Indian market as yet but the Monitor will start rolling out in USA on March 31st and will retail at $469 and $429 for the Dell 24 Wireless Monitor and the Dell 23 Wireless Monitor, respectively. While this monitor doesn’t offer the wireless phone charging capability, it does sport a smaller bezel, enhanced color reproduction and four USB 3.0 ports.
