Men: Apocalypse – Bryan Singer Shows Storm’s Home
20th Century Fox still hasn’t released the special teaser for X-Men: Apocalypse that debuted at Comic-Con a couple of weeks ago, but director Bryan Singer is still keeping in touch with fans and revealing new videos and photos from the set on a regular basis. We also know that he recruits a young Storm (Alexandra Shipp) to his side when he finds her in the streets of Cairo, and that they are joined by Psylocke and Magneto to become the Four Horsemen from the comics. Amongst the “X-Men” alums returning are Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, as well as James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence.
In the latest July issue of Entertainment Weekly (EW), the magazine dished out several interesting details about the villain “Apocalypse“. While it’s likely that Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse is the villain responsible for the rubble Singer is walking through in the picture, what are the possibilities that the director could visit Cairo and not drop in a tease of the Shadow King for a future movie…? Isaac adds that the god-like mutant destroys civilizations that he thinks are not moving towards evolution or “when things go awry”.
Reports say that the setting could hint of an appearance of Apocalypse, who is said to be the first mutant.
Meanwhile, one of the movie stills featured on the magazine shows a description of the scene where Professor X and the rest of the “X-Men” team meets “En Sabah Nur” for the first time. According to Ecumenical News, the team will be battling against their formidable enemy, Apocalypse, who threatens humanity’s existence.
X-Men: Apocalypse comes out in theaters on May 27, 2016.
