Florida man who killed 3 women scheduled for execution
And given the chance to confess to the murders of Terri Lynn Matthews, Natalie Holley, and Stephanie Collins, he insisted, “I did not murder these women”.
“I lost a lot of over this…[But] now, I’m happy”.
“She was an exceptionally outgoing person”, Reeves said.
“It was taking the attention off what he had done and putting it on the criminal, like he was some sort of superstar and she was the superstar’s angel”, she said.

The brothers were convicted with two others of plotting an attack at the military base in Fort Dix, near Trenton, New Jersey, and elsewhere. But when he called the house to ask for her, it became clear that wasn’t the case.
Matthews, 26, was abducted from the Land O’ Lakes Post Office on US 41. And her wallet was on the seat.
She added: “He dies for all of our girls”. Reeves feels only a matter of minutes could have spared her daughter. In the decades since, every one of the verdicts delivered by juries in three separate trials was reversed at least twice by appeals courts, although ultimately he was convicted again in each case: 10 times by 10 juries, to be exact.
“I think that he should get a new trial because another individual has confessed to that murder”, Mr Brunvand told the AP.
Prosecutors successfully argued that the alleged confession of another OH killer, Steven Kasler, who killed himself before a hearing could be held, was unlikely to lead to Bolin’s exoneration – in part because Kasler had falsely confessed to other crimes.
Bolin, who was once a carnival worker and long-haul trucker, is suspected in a number of other murders across the country.
In an interview with ABC’s 20/20 in August, Bolin said he wished the families were aware of evidence that he said would help exonerate him.

Bolin’s lawyer, Bjorn Brunvand, said he filed another motion to stay with the district court and with the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
The executive director of the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops has increased the pressure on the pro-life Republican governor of Florida Rick Scott to grant a moratorium on executions in the state beginning with Oscar Ray Bolin Jr, who was scheduled to be executed on Thursday (7 January).
“It’s about time“, she said.
