Chris Brown confused about why he’s stuck in Philippines
“His Hong Kong gig is supposed to be going off NOW, but we’re told Chris is still in the air”, said TMZ on Wednesday night (Manila time). “Brown’s promoter John Michael Pio Roda was also stopped from leaving the country”.
Earlier press reports quoted Brown saying he was unable to travel to the Philippines at the time because he had lost his passport.
It wasn’t immediately clear if a formal complaint has already been filed.

Immigration spokesperson Elaine Tan said the 26-year-old singer has not left the Philippines after earlier being placed under a lookout bulletin, adding “there was no reported attempt to depart yet on the part of Brown”.
The immigration bureau said Brown must prove there were no grounds to charge him with fraud before he is allowed to leave the country.
State prosecutors are investigating the complaint. He then breaks into a dance amid laughter in the background.
Calls and emails to the Iglesia ni Cristo and to Brown’s spokeswoman and concert promoters on Thursday were unanswered.
The LBO against the American singer stemmed from a letter from Glicerio Santos IV, chief legal counsel of Iglesia Ni Cristo and chief operating officer of the Maligaya Development Corp.
