The Story Behind David Beckham’s Newest Tattoo Is Pretty awesome

The former footballer has had the number 99 etched onto his hand – a nod to the year he married wife Victoria, welcomed first son Brooklyn and a enjoyed a treble-winning season playing football at Manchester United.

DAVID Beckham has got a new tattoo. The retired footballer now has the number 99 inked on the little finger on his right hand, and it’s clear the year still means a lot to him. It definitely was: not only did he marry Posh Spice, it was also the year he helped Manchester United win the treble of the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.

Earlier this month, David, whose favourite tattoos are the ones he has for his children (n’awww), posted a loving tribute to his wonderful wife on their 16th wedding anniversary.

“99 was a good year for me…” David captioned a black and white photo showing off his new body art.

He wrote alongside the picture: “16 years ago today was our special day…”

David and Victoria are now in Los Angeles with their children Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, ten, and Harper, four.

Victoria’s husband showed off his new inking to his fans on his Instagram page.

David Beckham has added yet another tattoo to his collection and we have to say, we love it.

“I’m very fortunate in my life, and to be able to do this for a family that works so hard… it is an incredible feeling”.
