Mexican official: Canadian pop star Justin Bieber asked to leave Tulum ruins
Sipse newspaper added: “The singer ignored the signs and chose to climb onto platforms and restricted areas”.
There should really be a new game show in the style of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? that’s instead called Where in the World is Justin Bieber Being a Disrespectful Dick?
Bieber was visiting the seaside ruins on Thursday when the incident occurred.
The singer, who claimed he had cleaned up his bad boy act past year, reportedly attempted to enter the site of an ancient Mayan fortress in the Mexican town of Tulum while holding a beer.
“I can confirm to you that Mr. Bieber was kicked out of the Tulum archaeological site yesterday”, Adriana Velazquez-Morlet, director of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), tells ET.
She said the security staff called in police to defuse the row although they didn’t have to intervene in the end.
“He was asked to desist and after repeating his behaviour, he was invited to leave the area escorted by security guards”.
Despite the alleged incident, Justin must have enjoyed his day because he tweeted about having a “great” time.
The “Sorry” singer has been vacationing in Mexico with his reported new girlfriend, 19-year-old Hailey Baldwin.
“He was completely respectful, and he participated in the welcoming ceremony performed by a local shaman”, said Leno.
On Tuesday, he visited an adventure park, where officials refused his request that other tourists be removed from the site so that he would not be bothered by fans.
Back in November 2013, his bodyguards were pictured attacking a photographer outside a Buenos Aires nightclub.
Last October he made headlines by walking out of a live interview on a Spanish radio station.
