Trump Pledges To End Gun-Free Zones At Schools: ‘You Have To’
Though Trump’s campaign had taken pains to screen people at the door and turn away anyone who didn’t present themselves as a supporter, the Republican front-runner’s hourlong speech was still interrupted several times by protesters in the concert hall, all of whom were removed by security. At another point, Trump mocked his own security team – saying that they were meekly asking protesters to leave at the beginning, but that as the rally went on, they were getting tougher.
At first, Trump seemed to embrace the disruptions. She loves Donald Trump, and the interruptions from the protesters didn’t ruin it for her. “In a weird way it just makes it more commanding and more-stronger, and seeing people voicing their opinion”. “You go to a Hillary (Clinton) thing and it’s like, boring”. The order came around thirty minutes into his speech as Trump began losing control of his crowd for the first time in many rallies.
“Oh, I would love to run against Bernie, that would be a dream come true”, Trump said.
Donald Trump’s brief trip to Burlington, Vermont, made for a raucous political spectacle.
In a snow-covered park near the Flynn Center, hundreds of anti-Trump protesters camped out, waving signs and chanting slogans.
He noted that he expected a number of critics in a left-leaning state like Vermont.
But perhaps more so, Trump was digging in on Sanders’ turf in hopes of demonstrating some crossover appeal.
“Mexico”, the crowd replied in unison.
As the hecklers were quickly escorted out of the building, presumably leaving behind personal belongings like coats, Trump directed, “Get him outta there!”
They will not support a candidate who thinks climate change is a hoax invented by the Chinese. Bernie Sanders’ battle central station.
Turns out, Trump’s campaign had every right to choose who they allowed in since they paid to rent out the Flynn theater.
“We’ve got to get the security moving a little bit faster here”, he said. “And on military bases, my first day it gets signed, OK?”
“Get ’em out. Take ’em out”. Later today, Donald Trump will hold one of his campaign events in Burlington, Vermont the city where Bernie was mayor, and the city from which we are running our campaign for president, the email solicitation reads.
“Who’s going to pay for the wall?” he asked repeatedly. “I promise… I tell you what, that was so embarrassing to watch that”.
“Yeah, don’t give him his coat. You know it’s about 10 degrees below zero outside”, he called from the stage.
“I will get rid of gun-free zones at schools”, he said. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), a Democratic presidential candidate.
As more protesters were booted throughout the event, they received a hero’s welcome from the assembly outside.
The Trump campaign gave away 20,000 tickets to the event, even though the Flynn Center has a seating capacity of 1,400, according to the Burlington Free Press.
