Bernie Sanders Takes on Donald Trump Online
Donald Trump has confiscated the coat from a man and had him thrown out into freezing temperatures for protesting at a rally.
Donald Trump’s campaign stop in Burlington, Vermont, on Thursday attracted almost as many protesters as it did supporters.
Following a day of show over the group size at Donald Trump’s rally here Thursday, the Republican presidential leader’s crusade endeavored to bar any individual who did not vow their backing from going to his occasion.
To weed out protesters, the Trump campaign asked everyone entering the theater to pledge support to the billionaire TV star and businessman.
“They’re afraid to come up here because it has a tendency to be a little bit liberal, a little bit rough”, Donald Trump said of his Republican rivals.
Trump at one point gleefully recalled that Sanders allowed two Black Lives Matter activists to interrupt him during a public appearance and take control of the microphone.
“Yeah, don’t give him his coat. You know it’s about 10 degrees below zero outside”, roared Trump from the stage.
You may have heard Trump make a remark to protestors inside the Flynn that he would have their coats held hostage. “Tell him we’ll mail it to him”.
He said city officials tried to engage the campaign in conversations about a plan for outside of the theater where almost 700 protesters spent the night chanting and sharing their support for other presidential candidates, including Democratic candidate Sen.
Still, Sanders supporters and other Trump opponents slipped through the cracks – some disrupting the Republican front-runner’s speech, while others simply sat in silence.
TheBlaze reached out to a Trump spokesperson Friday morning, inquiring how Trump would eliminate gun-free zones on his first day in office – whether by executive action or through the legislative process. But with Trump in town, he said a lot of people stopped in for a bite to eat. Now that he’s running for the GOP nomination, though, Trump’s not just walking that line, he’s trying to lead the parade.
The Trump campaign had distributed 20,000 tickets for a 1,400 seat venue.
“Pretty soon they’re going to get so nasty that we’re not going to have any more protesting”, he said of the security force after yet another protester was shown the door. “I would love it. That would be a dream come true”, Trump said. I was born in Vermont. Each time protesters were kicked out of Trump’s event, they were greeted like rock stars by Sanders supporters. Well if you want to pay a 90 percent tax, I mean he wants to tax you at 90 percent. “I’m taking care of my people, not people who don’t want to vote for me or are undecided”, he said in a statement, according to NBC News. Justin Griffith, 20, a college student, said that he was turned away from the rally despite having a ticket. After another interruption, Trump simply called the protesters “rude”. “I promise… I tell you what, that was so embarrassing to watch that”. If you want to know why this 2016 presidential campaign has been so insane, bizarre, and unpredictable, you can thank one person for that – Donald Trump. “LePage’s racist rants sadly distract from efforts to address one of our nation’s most pressing problems”, her campaign said in a statement.
