Full Coachella 2016 Lineup Release: Guns N’ Roses Confirmed
After releasing its first new song in five years, “Christmas Will Break Your Heart”, sources told Billboard the band would be getting back together.
But the biggest news is the reunion of the original members of Guns N’ Roses, who are making the headline both Saturday nights.
Following LCD Soundsytem and GNR’s headlining stints, Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris closes out the festival on Sunday night.
Other acts include Ice Cube, Sia, Ellie Goulding, A$AP Rocky, Calvin Harris, Disclosure, Run the Jewels, Rancid and LCD Soundsystem, which also reunites after disbanding back in 2011.
The concerts are expected to be the first time singer Axl Rose and guitarist Slash have performed together in Guns N’ Roses since 1993. Thank you to everyone who has been absurdly kind to us over the past 14 years.
Speculation of a reunion of the classic line-up was sparked last year after it was revealed that Slash and Rose were finally on friendly terms following a near 20-year feud.
