Britney Spears too ill for People’s Choice Awards
It was the middle of the “People’s Choice Awards”, and the cast of “The Talk” was just accepting their award for Favorite Daytime Hosting Team when a random man chose to “pull a Kanye” and jump on stage with them.
But that wasn’t the only milestone of the night.
Furious 7 took home the prizes for Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Movie at the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night.
In the lead up to her award, the show gave a brief rundown of the individual causes she’s supported. She won Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Pop Artist.
Somewhere, Steve’s all, “Survey says – I’m depressed!” For instance, Britney Spears (34) was set to appear but didn’t show up to accept her award for Favorite Social Media Celebrity due to a minor illness.
On television, Lynch starred as Sue Sylvester in the series “Glee“, a role for which she won both an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
Actress Sandra Bullock also came out on top, winning the title of Favorite Movie Actress for her 2015 films Our Brand Is Crisis and Minions.
Nicasio, who goes by the stage name ZacZeta, was quite proud of his so-called accomplishment and posted a video of the entire ordeal to his Instagram page with the caption “You now I had to do it”.
As Sheryl Underwood pushed him away while declaring “uh uh” and “security”, feisty Mrs. O let her leg do the talking – delivering two swift kicks with her right leg as the young man reluctantly left the stage.
There was more drama at the show when Dakota Johnson had a near disastrous wardrobe malfunction as she accepted the award for the steamy hit Fifty Shades of Grey. (Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP) Stars including Vanessa Hudgens, Keke Palmer, Julianne Hough, Carly Rae Jepson and Kether Donohue attended the People’s Choice Awards.
In typical Ellen fashion, her acceptance speech blended the comedian’s endearing earnestness and sly wit, showing all who watch what a show biz pro truly looks like.
